YUVRAJ SINGH'S SECOND INNINGS
T20 World Cup is going to be start soon. All of us are very much excited to watch it. This world cup is also special because Yuvraj Singh is making a comeback after defeating cancer. We all are excited to see him again hitting 6 sixes in an over as he did in Stuart Broad’s over in T20 World Cup 2007. After going through the phase of chemotherapy, he practiced for hours in the nets to prove his fitness. He took his time and proved his fitness then selectors selected him for T20 World Cup.
He is a kind of player who can bat aggressively and can make runs very fast. In crucial situations, he can play accordingly. He is a match winner. When it is his day, he is a definite nightmare for the opposition. He is an experienced player of the team and hence younger players of the team like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli can learn a lot from his experience. He is a batting all-rounder who can bowl left arm spin and can be handy at times for breaking partnerships. He is also a Brilliant fielder of the team and strengthens Indian fielding department. He is a perfect T20 batsman who likes to hit sixes.
We saw him in the last match against New Zealand where he played a well-paced innings of 36 runs in 24 balls hitting 2 sixes and a four. Although India lost that match yet it was looking that Yuvraj Singh is completely fit after successfully recovering from cancer. We are not thinking of the T20 series loss from New Zealand but we are happy that Yuvraj Singh is completely fit and in form. But his fitness can’t be judged only from his T20 performance. He will have to prove himself in the larger format of the cricket because it will be his real test in ODIs and Test cricket where he will have to spend more time on the field.
Right now we are happy that Yuvraj Singh is in good touch before T20 World Cup and it will be pleasant to watch him playing. We would like to see blasting performance from him. We pray to god that he will always be healthy and fit so that he could play more matches for country and let India win more matches.
