Sunrisers Hyderabad won the eliminator 1 against Kolkata Night Riders with the heroics of Yuvraj Singh (44 off 30) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3 for19)
Sunrisers Hyderabad won in the eliminator 1 match eliminating Kolkata Knight Riders. It was a very emotional scene as the cheer leaders were all in the tears who seemed to be emotionally attached with the Kolkata team.
Young cricketers can learn from Sunrisers bowlers who bowled there master class and showed the oppositions how to take wickets bring under pressure. Bhuvaneshwar kumar took 3 important wickets and gave away only 19 runs in his spell of overs. He always looked in control. They bowled brilliantly in the death overs.
It all started with Sunrisers Hyderabad players Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner came to open th innings. Warner played a good innings while Shikhar Dhawan was out on 10 who hit 2 sixes in his innings. Warnet compiled 28runs in his short innings. Then came Henriques who gave SRH some momemtum after both the openers were out.
Then Yuvraj Singh came to the crease and it was looking from his face that he would do something special today. He paced his innings very beautifully and compiled 44 runs of 30 balls. In his innings, he had 8 beautiful boundaries and 1 big six. He came to the party at the right time when it was needed the most. He again made everybody feel that he is the player of big matches.
Then Deepak Hooda played a short camio and made 21 runs in his innings. He faced 13 balls in his innings and hit 2 big sixes. Bipul Sharma joined the party and lofted 2 big sixes with the strike rate of 233.33 and took the team total to 162 for the loss of 8 wickets.
Now it was the KKR's turn to chase down the target. It was looking that KKR will do it with ease but it was a eliminator means the team who loose the match will be eliminated. So the pressure of chasing the target was there on the KKR side. It was started well and Gambhir was looking in good touch. He made 28 and used 28 balls for that. After he got out Munro came but he could not do much and out making 16 for 17 balls. Then came Manish Panday and he was playing sensibly sticking to one end but when Pathan got out was the turning point of the match. For some time Surya Kumar Yadav was playing well hitting 23 of 15 balls. In his innings he had 1 four and 1 six. When he got out who was the last recognized batsman, no one was there who could keep bat and make partnetship with Manish Panday. In the end moments Manish Panday in the hope of a six, lofted o ball but it went straight in to the hands of fielder. From then it was like a formality and at last Sunrisers won the match by 22 runs.
Moises Henriques was the Man of the Match for his combo of runs and wickets. Though he got the man of the match, it was all the team performance by the side. Bhuvi is in great touch who have already taken 21 wickets in this season and hete are more matched to follow.
